The terminal will not accept the original title or bill of sale. Submissions to Customs must include the following: -Original vehicle title or original bill of sale with 3 copies (front & back) -Dock Receipt (Original plus 3 copies) with Port of Loading, Booking number, Vehicle Identification Number(VIN), ITN Number, Date of Export -Cover Letter from Individual sending titles (Letter of Intent) and 3 copies Documentation must be submitted to CBP 72 hours (3 working days) prior to the exporting vessel sailing. Weekends, Holiday's and date of receipt are not to be counted. * Please note cargo must also meet the 72 hour rule. Even though the paperwork and cargo are being delivered separately, they both must meet the 72 hour requirement.
