 | Custom Rules | As from 1st of April 2014, every customer will have to provide the full chassis number as a mandatory requirement when exporting vehicles (both new and second-hand) via the Belgian seaports.
With regard to means of transport, the explanatory note to the Only Document stipulates that the following is to be entered in section 31:
- Make of the car
- Model of the car
- Full chassis number (= vehicle identification number)
Document needs to be scanned in at the terminal. |

 | Delivery | Pre-announcement before delivery either by EDI or excel file sent 24 hrs before delivery of the cargo stating
1. VIN (full chassis number of 17 digits) = mandatory
2. Make/Model = mandatory
3. Customer = mandatory (+Customer reference if available)
4. Port of Destination (PoD) = mandatory
5. Shipping Line (SLO) = mandatory (+Booking reference )
In the unlikely event that the mandatory data are not pre-announced in an electronic manner, your driver will have to arrange all administrative issues before being allowed access to the terminal.
2nd hand units will be measured and weighed by the terminal. Units who are against the rules of the local port authorities, the terminal and Hoegh will be refused at the gate.

Follow Waasland Tunnel direction Zelzate/Hulst/Knokke (Express road) until the connection to the Liefkenshoek Tunnel marked as HAVEN 1100-1999.
Then immediately take exit Ring 13 Haven 1000-1605.

Past the Kennedy Tunnel take second exit direction Brugge/Rotterdam.
